John Merhottein (Republican Party) is running for election to the Pennsylvania State Senate to represent District 18. Merhottein is on the ballot in the general election on November 8, 2022. Merhottein advanced from the Republican primary on May 17, 2022.

John is running against Lisa Boscola (Democratic Party) as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing District 18. Lisa is on the ballot in the general election.

John proudly served our country in operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield as a United States Marine, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal & Kuwait Liberation Medal. John was also awarded the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Two Meritorious Masts, and the Good Conduct Medal during his service. Now John wants to serve again in the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing District 18.
