Nationwide Veteran Survey on Military Withdrawal in Afghanistan Announced by American Veterans Honor Fund

American Veterans Honor Fund - Press Release

WASHINGTON D.C., 11/16/2021 – A grassroots political organization committed to supporting Veterans across the nation has just announced a nationwide survey to better understand Veterans’ perceptions of the current events and military withdrawal in Afghanistan. This survey is exclusive to military veterans and is available on the organization’s website and will be distributed through social media platforms along with other methods to reach veterans near and far.

“President Joe Biden’s execution of the American military withdrawal from Afghanistan will likely go down as one of the most needless, preventable, and humiliating foreign policy debacles in American history. Over a dozen servicemen & women needlessly lost their lives in suicide bombings at the Kabul International Airport and countless other Afghan civilians perished alongside them,” American Veterans Honor Fund said in a statement. “ As an organization who works to advocate on behalf of America’s Veterans, we feel the pain felt by many and we’d like to hear from our nation’s Veterans directly. That’s why we have decided to launch a survey to hear from you directly regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal.”

The survey, titled Vets Speak Out: Failure in Afghanistan, gives veterans a chance to share their thoughts on the situation. Results will be shared upon the completion of the survey and will be used to guide the work of the organization in the future and give the public a better understanding of the impact of this decision made by the Biden administration.

American Veterans Honor Fund has worked for years in support of Veterans, especially in preparing and providing resources to Veterans who would like to continue to serve their country in an elected capacity at the state and local levels of government. Their website states that “We provide training, technology, and an experienced network of contacts, experts, and professionals dedicated to preparing our Veterans for service in an elected capacity.  We give Veterans the opportunity and tools to fight against the corruption and mismanagement of our government from within.”

If you are Veteran, we highly encourage you to fill out the survey here
